The Fruit of the Spirit is a fun song to learn all the fruits of the Spirit. These
fruits grow in believers as they experience God’s sanctifying grace.
Sing and dance along!
Jesus heard that Peter’s mother-in-law was sick and He reached out to her
with great compassion. Jesus healed many people all throughout the
gospels, but as Peter reminded us, the greatest healing is the healing of
our hearts. Jesus died on the cross so that we could be healed of our sins.
Other Activities for Today
Draw with Grace
Head outside with the chalk and draw the most beautiful garden that you can.
Try to incorporate the word “grace” and/or our memory verse in your drawing.
Navigating the Fruits of the Spirit
Have an adult use the crepe paper to create an obstacle course. Spread
the fruit around throughout the course. Give each child a turn going through
the course, collecting the fruit as they go. Time children as they individually
go through the course, collecting the fruit, without tearing any of the crepe paper.
